Today we’re going to talk about make up on the go particularly on how to apply mascara.

You always need that ideal mascara, so make sure you always have one handy. The mascara that I’m using give more curl and volume to the lashes. It will look beautiful with matching eyeliner too.

The best way to apply mascara is to start right at the base of the lash and pull to the outer edge of the lash. Use a jet black mascara, this looks best on everybody, and it really helps bring out your lash line.

Then grab the behind of the lashes as well to really coat the lash. I’m sort of using a sawing upward motion as I’m pulling out of the eyelash. This helps to really plump up the lashes and give them that really thick plush lash line.

So there you go, a quick and easy make-up tip on how to apply mascara.

Eyes are so much fun. There really are not a lot of rules in applying eyeshadow. I’m going to give you tips to some basic outlines.

First, what we’re going to do is, just like in the face, we‘re going to put a base on the eyelids. We’ve already did the eyebrows by strengthening them.

On the eyelid, use a cream base that you can get from most make-up line. What we’re going to do is tap it in the lids. Remember to use your middle or ring finger and just rub the base in. Putting a based will make your eyeshadow will stick and you won’t have so many sprinkles that often happen underneath your eyes.

The base will make the color stick and it is crease resistant. It has many other benefits too.

So, you should always start with a little bit of a cream eyeshadow first. I chose one that’s a little yellow golden because it goes with most natural look. But there are other colors that you can get, such as a pink and white. You can even use a blue. You can always use a different a base; use whatever makeup line you feel comfortable with.

Anytime, you’re working with a cream, I would recommend using your fingers. If you use a brush, all the brush hair gets really disgusted with the cream. It’s not a sanitary thing, its jut a big mess. I promise you, use a brush one time and you’ll never use it again with a cream.

So, apply the cream with your fingers because it will give you more control. It won’t mess up your pretty brushes too.

Applying the yellow gold base on the entire lid lightens the person up. Now, with whatever color I use on the eyes, it will stay through.

Today we’re going to talk about how to go from standard make-up, your everyday make-up, and make it a little bit more intense. So that you’re eyes, lips and cheeks stand out for photographs. I will teach you how to do make up for photography.

If you have your everyday make up on, like brown eyeliner, one color eyeshadow on the lid, an accentuating darker color on her crease, a nice soft blush and a soft lip.

In photographs, we just want to make sure that we get the eyes to stand out. I want you to be aware that when you do this kind of make-up, sometimes it looks a little bit harsh. But in the lights, it’s going to really show well.

So, use a black liner instead of a brown one. Bring the liner into the corner of your eyes. Use light motions and don’t pull the eye. Remember that even professional makeup artists can’t do a straight line really well.

Now, take a brush and intensify the eyeshadow. Plum really looks good in picture especially if you have green eyes. Its’ going to appear brown in photographs but it’s really plum.

So, go up the brow bone and sweep it up down across the eyeliner that you just did. We are just softening and intensifying it at the same time.

If you get some eyeshadow underneath your eyes, just brush it off it a big full brush.

Then apply mascara after the eyeshadow, applying it to the top and bottom lashes.

If you already have a soft blush on, just take a flat brush and use it in the contours of the cheeks. It’s going to highlight your cheekbones and making it much higher.
And if you already have a light lipstick on, take a gold tone gloss and bring it right to the center of the lip. By bringing the gloss just at the center, the light will hit it and will make it appear fuller.

So, with the gloss, just to a moon shape and don’t bring it to the side. But put a tiny bit in the bow area of the lip.

By just doing just a few minor changes on everyday make up, you can intensify it so it’s more distinct. If we only have our everyday make up on, it somewhat just fades away in photographs. So make it a little more defined.

I just made a list here of legitimate sites that I found, where you can get free sample of make-up, lotion, shampoo, and fragrances. It’s just little samples but it’s still better than nothing.

I know the shipping takes a while because I’ve actually some free dove shampoo and conditioner samples, and I just got them in the mail yesterday.

Shipping does take a while but if you all order on the same day, you’re going to have a whole bunch of stuff in your house. And that’s going to be so cool.

I’m just going to run through the list really fast and I’ll just post the websites that you can go to in the description box.

Free Makeup Samples Video

-	One touch gold – If you’re diabetic or you know someone who is, this is a really nice sample. Are you familiar with those mini blood sugar monitors that come in the different colors? The sample comes with that and five test strips and carrying case. Since it’s really nice, I got those and gave it to my grandmother who is diabetic. I recommend the diabetic meter sample I got that one w while ago. The shipping was really fast.

-	Dove body lotion

-	Gwen Stefani Fragrance

-	Ultimate mascara by Mary Kay

-	Dove Hair Therapy System – I just got mine in the mail yesterday. It’s a pretty big package and good for one use. It’s better than nothing and it’s free. You don’t need to pay for shipping.

-	Sunsilk – shampoo and conditioner samples

-	Everyday Minerals; I actually got this in the mail today. And it isn’t totally free. I paid $3 for shipping but you do get quite a number of mineral products considering that this does last a long time. You get your choice of three foundations in sifting-like jars, one concealer and a blush. You can get as many as you want as long as you just pay $3 for shipping.

Calvin Klein fragrance sample

Lacoste fragrance

E.L.F. Candy lip tins

Pantene shampoo and conditioner samples

GeekFlirt lip gloss

Nexxus shampoo and conditioner samples

L.A.M.B fragrance

That’s not even all of them, I have a lot more. I just don’t feel like talking about them enough, so I will post them in the description box along with these ones that I’ve read off.

There’s a lot of other fragrance samples that I didn’t read, I just thought I’d read the most popular ones.

I think there’s also a site named 1000 Samples. I’m not really sure what that’s about but a friend sent it to me and that’s where she gets all these sites that offer free samples.

So definitely, take advantage of this. It’s free and you don’t have to pay for shipping.

Just put in your address and name and sign up. There’s no scam especially if you’re getting shampoo samples off Dove.com; it’s authentic and your going to get your samples.

Don’t be scare to give out your address or name to the site if it’s actually the authentic website because they’ll obviously not going to spam you.

That’s it for all the samples that I have and actually signed up for.

Today, I’m going to teach you how to do prom make-up.

When doing prom make-up, highlighting of the lips is important after applying the foundation and blush. Also, we are going to intensify the eyes.

With prom make up, rather with any other time with make-up, we will add some sparkles. We want to add more color too. You want to pick up the color of your dress and into your eyes. Make your eye-makeup fun and make it pop with sparkles.

For the eyes, we’ve done the basic eyes with a dark eye shadow and eyeliner, under and over your eyes. For a dark purple dress, we will apply a copper color on the lid and plum color on the crease.

So with a very small tight brush, draw a line with the eyeshadow in deep purple. Put your eyeshadow on intensely and go over the eyeliner. Use a much darker liner than you usually use during the day.

When you’re doing your eyes for prom, use mascara that has sparkles in it too. Use your regular mascara first, and then apply a light coating of the sparkles mascara on the top and bottom lashes.

We’re going to go ahead and put some glitters. What’s prom without a little glitter?

We will use a dark glitter with some purples and greens that match our purple dress.

Now, take a brush and put some underneath the eyes. Be careful not to put any in your eyes, that wouldn’t feel good.

Take a Q-tip and dab the sparkles some more to bring some attention into your eyes.
Pick other spots in your face too but don’t apply it all over. If you want to highlight you cheekbones, apply some there.

Now for the blush, use a light pink blush. Remember with prom, you want your make up to stay on. So we will use a setting powder.

Use a setting powder to set everything in. Then use a fat brush with gold highlights and apply it over the face on top of the foundation.

You can use any color though, just make sure it shimmers.

For prom make-up, we’re going to do a real neutral lip. So for that we only apply a neutral gloss.

With prom make up you don’t need a whole lot of different lipstick; you don’t want to carry all of that with you to reapply.

Just get a nice gloss that you’re comfortable with that gives you a lot of shine. This will pick up the shine on your eyes as well.

So there you have it, you have a nice matte finish with sparkles in the eyes and lips and the really intense eyes.

Have a great prom!

I am going to teach you how to clean your make up brushes. This is not an everyday brush cleaning that you’re going to do. This can be done once a week or only when your brushes look really dirty.

The first step is that you’re going do is take a paper towel and get some extra virgin olive oil. Dip the brush in a bit olive oil, this is going to soften the bristle of the brush and break up the make-up. It makes the make-up come off easier too. Take a paper towel and scrub the brush gently until all the colors come off.

Wet the brush bristles; be careful not to wet the metal part that’s holding it or it might get rusty. Then take any baby shampoo and swirl it to the center of the bristles. This cleans and removes the make-up on the brush some more. After, rinse with water.

Shake off the excess water and use a paper towel to dry the brushes off. If you can, shape them into a point.

If the make-up doesn’t clean off completely, repeat the process.

I’m going teach you how to do beautiful make up in five minutes. We’re going to start with a bit of foundation on. I’m going to teach you a technique with foundation. I like using a brush, but I’m just going to dab the foundation on with my finger. Then use your cosmetic wedge to just blend it out.

Most people don’t need foundation all the way to the corners of the face but apply it just on your nose, forehead and cheeks. Then blend the foundation down. Foundation is a great place to start because you get this blank canvas to work on. You want look pale when you’re finished with you foundation. Once you are complete with your foundation, go around to your eyes.

Bring your eyes forward with a little concealer. If you have dark circles, you just want to dab that into your dark circles and up into the corners of your eyes. This will brighten up the eyes altogether. Also, if you have any blemishes, now is the time to cover them. Just use your brush or finger, so go ahead and take care of that.

Next, we’re going to apply the eyeshadow. We’ll just keep it simple. Since we have five minutes, I’m going to use a nice shimmery gold peach color and sweep it with a big fluffy brush in the corner of the eye and out. Just keep it simple because we have only five minutes.

Then we’re going over to the pencil liner. I’m choosing a dark brown liner because it will bring out my natural skin tone. I apply the pencil line in short sweeping motions just along the lash line. Applying pencil liner should be as if you’re making dots and dashes in your lid but just connecting them.

Do the same thing at the bottom too. Remember, don’t pull your eyes and don’t draw a straight line in just one stroke with your pencil because you’re going to get a really harsh look.

And if you pull your eyes, they wear out. Your eyes are like elastic underwear, you can only do a little bit at a time.

We’re going to separate our lashes before applying the mascara. Then grab a mascara, we’re using a thickening and lengthening mascara, and just sweep it on the top of the lashes to get the tips.

Then bring it up, while moving it back and forth a little bit .This way you’ll keep them forming clumps. I’m just going touch it up a little bit in the bottom. And now we have a beautiful eye.

Next , we want to use a blush. I’m going to use a blush that really gives color without making it too much. I’m using a flat head brush because I love the control it gives me.

So tap your brush in the blush and shake it off a bit so you don’t get any on your clothes. And tap it in, start in the apple of the cheeks and blend it up and down, going from cheek to chin.

There, you now have beautiful complexion!

Lipstick is your choice. We’re just going to go with one color of lipstick. You can also go with a liner if you like. But since we’re keeping it under five minutes, we’re just going to go with one color.

We’re going with a bronzer lip color because it’s going to go beautifully with the color we put in our eyes. If you don’t have a lip brush to use, just use the tube and blend it out so it looks really natural and full on your lips

And that’s beautiful make-up in five minutes or less.

We’re going to apply eyeshadow for a regular day look that’s simple and can be used everyday.

The best way to choose color for your eyes is to look at your eye color, and use the complimentary color for that specific eye color. For hazel eyes, you’re going to use a color that’s a little bit cooler; a plum or a purple. The complimentary color for blue eye color is orange. But you can use bronze, cooper or gold or any color that’s a little bit warmer if you have blue eyes.

A good way to remember warm and cool colors is that warm colors come from the sun and cool colors come from the water. That’s just the rule of the thumb though; you don’t really have to do that. You can use any color you want, as long as you feel comfortable wearing it.

Start out by applying a paint to the eyelids. This is a base that goes underneath the eyeshadow that’s going to help the it stick. It’s also going to enhance the color.

This is a crease proof product. It’s really important to use something like this if your eyelids tend to get oily during the day and if your eyeshadow creases.

Remember to always powder your lids before you put your eyeshadow on, this will also prevent your eyeshadow from creasing.

Apply the paint over the entire eyelid, all the way up to the brow bone and blend it outward. Just applying it lightly, you don’t want it to be very thick or else, it’ll make the eyeshadow look a bit cakey.

Then, use a nice neutral color for the lid and apply this right to the lid and on top of that paint. Don’t take it all the way to the brow because we’re going to use something a little bit lighter for the brow bone.

We want to make sure that the eyeshadow doesn’t fall below the lash line. Because if it does, it will make your eyes look that they’re sagging down or downturned

For the brow bone, use the lightest color that you use on your eyes. Apply some color just to the tip of a brush and put it on the crease and just do a little windshield wiper movements right there. This movement just kinds of create a natural crease.

Now, use a foundation brush and clean up the sides of your eyes. It’s normal for some of your eyeshadow to fall down below your top lid. You just make sure that you clean that up so that your make-up looks more sculptured and fresh.

Then use a clean brush and blend the color in just by using circular motions. You want to use the windshield wiper movement to apply and circular motions to blend the colors.

When you’ve got that all blended, use a little bit of a darker color and apply that to the outer corner of the eye. Because the natural contour of the eyes is a little bit darker on the outside, this is going to make the make-up a little more natural. Then take a clean brush again, do circular motions and blend the color in.

Today, we’re going to be doing the concealer beneath your eyes. After doing your eyeshadow, that’s why we start with that first, we have some annoying fallen shadows beneath.

You’re just going to take a wipe or whatever you may desire and just get rid of that so you can begin the process of doing the face.

What you’re going to do is lower your chin, look up into the mirror and detect where the shadows are on the face. Once you find you’re shadow, you’re going apply concealer on everything within that bracket.

We have dark areas around the nose and below the lips, conceal that as well.

Take the concealer all the way to the edge of the eye to where the lashes are.

And remember to blend, blend and blend.

You don’t want to see where you started and where you stopped.

So lightly, use a sponge and just press it in.

You can also put some concealer on the bridge of the nose and that’s to bring light to the center of the face.

Use your concealer until you are satisfied that all the dark shadows are gone.

So that’s how you apply your concealer.

When applying mineral make-up, always start with a clean face. When cleansing, focus on the T zone area. Rinse thoroughly and pat your face dry. Next, gently apply moisturizer. Rub it thoroughly into your skin. Allow five minutes for skin to absorb the moisturizer completely.

Now, it’s time to conceal. Use a concealer that’s one shade lighter than your foundation. Get your mineral concealer jar, remove the lid and tap a small about of concealer into the lid. Add a couple drops of water and mix thoroughly with a brush.

When applying the concealer, start in the inner corner of your eye and work your way outward. Use middle finger to gently finish blending the concealer for that natural look.

It’s time to apply your foundation. Remove the lid from your mineral foundation jar and turn it over. Tap a small amount of foundation into the lid. Use your powder brush to pick-up the foundation. Swirl your powder brush in the lid and then tap the excess powder into the lid.

Apply the foundation in a circular motion to blend in the foundation. Apply foundation in layers until you reach desired coverage.

Mineral Makeup Application Tip Video

Now, it’s time for blush. Remove lid from blush jar and turn it over. Again, tap a small amount of blush in lid. Use a blush brush to pick up blush. Swirl your brush in the lid. Tap excess blush in the lid.

Smile and start applying blush at the apples of the cheeks. Glide brush along cheekbone toward hairline, blending it in a circular motion.

For sculpting your eyebrows, use your favourite pencil or shadow. Then apply your favorite mascara.

After your mascara, apply your favourite eyeliner. Tap a small amount of eyeshadow in the lid of the jar and add a couple drops of water. Mix thoroughly. This will serve as your eyeliner.

Applying eyeliner to your top lid will make your eyes look bigger but for a more dramatic look, you can also apply it on your lower lid.

It’s time to apply the eyeshadow. Again, remove lid, turn jar over and tap a small amount of eyeshadow in the lid.

We will start by applying a lighter eyeshadow color on inner part of the eye. Then blend your favourite colors on the outer corners of your eyelid.

We are almost done applying our mineral makeup. But now, it’s time to apply the setting powder.

Remove the lid of your setting powder jar, turn it over and tap a small amount in the lid. Use a powder brush to pick up the setting powder.

Swirl the powder brush in the lid and tap the excess powder off. Then brush on setting powder to minimize you pores and decrease the appearance of fine lines.

To complete your look, apply your favorite mineral lipstick to enhance the natural beauty of your lips. Using mineral makeup can create an all natural, stunning look.

You can be casual by day and be seductive at night.
