Eye Makeup Tips for Different Eye Types
Each person has a unique look. Even identical twins have distinct physical qualities that is his or her own. Some have high cheekbones, large forehead, square jaw or small chin. The eyes, too, differ from one person to another. Others may have a hooded, close set or droopy eyes. Depending on how you would like to look, your eyes can dramatically change your whole appearance. Makeup can help you achieve this.

Improving your eye’s appearance or just simple enhancing their beauty, there are numerous makeup solutions for that. Here are some of them:
The hooded eyes look like they are partially closed and if you have this eye type, makeup should be used to minimize the eyelid. The first step in improving hooded eyes is the eyebrows. They should be proper trimmed and arched so that they enhance your eyes. Next is to apply a highlight color to the upper lash line from the brow bone. The highlight color is usually a light eyeshadow color. After the highlight or base color, apply a second shade of eyeshadow into the surface of the eyelid. Make sure to blend it in thoroughly. The second shade is a tad bit darker that the highlight color. On the outer lid, brush it with contour shade, the darkest among all the three shades that you would be using. Apply it up towards the eyebrow. To further minimize the hooded eye look, apply a bit of contour shade under the lower eyelashes. You can also substitute it with eyeliner if you want. Putting a bit of eyeliner in the outer upper lashes past the edge of the eyes can also be done.
The next eye type is the close set eyes. Close set eyes are those eyes that are less than an eye-length apart. In other words, the eyes are so close together. If this is the case, eye makeup should be used to make the eyes appear to be further apart. This is usually done by further emphasizing the eye’s outer edges. To create an illusion of width, apply liner at the outer eye on the top and bottom. Make sure that it is thicker than the usual and as close to the lashes. For the eyeshadow, intense eyecolor should be applied on the farther most corner of the eye and extended a bit just like the eyeliner. Always follow the number one makeup rule: Blend everything thoroughly. For an added touch, forego the mascara and apply false eyelashes. For sure, the completed look will make your eyes beautiful and appear to be further apart.
Though some eyes droop because of age, some folks are born with droopy eyes. Here are a few makeup tips to enhance and liven them up: Put on some highlighter shade on the areas under the eyebrows and cover the entire eyelid completely. Next is to apply a medium shade on your eye crease up and towards the brows. Blend all colors thoroughly. Then take a contour shade and apply it lightly on the outside corner of your upper eyelashes and up towards the crease. It is also important to apply contour color on the lash line under the eyes.
