How to Do the Angelina Jolie Makeup Look
For an Angelina Jolie Make-up look, once you have the base color on, move to the lid color.
With the lid color, we don’t want to do anything dramatic so we’ll just do a multi-cappuccino color. Use a cream in matte because it’s going to go on nice and smooth. You can use a powder as well as long as it looks creamy and smooth.
We always want it darker than the base color but not too dark. This is a kind of like a neutral caramel lid so that the liner really stand out once we put it on.
We’re just going to apply the color into the lid, and that is where the ball of the eye protrudes, right down to the lashes but not up past the crease of your eye.
Underneath the eye, we want to keep it light. We also want everything to be blended. You don’t want to see any fine lines or demarcation lines. Everything needs to look like it’s blended in perfectly.
This is a very natural look except for the eyeliner and the lashes. You can see the difference where we did just base and how the lid color blends into that look now.
Also, just take a tiny bit of the lid color underneath the eye. With this look, it’s really not about underneath the eye. There’s really not much going on underneath, we’re just making it sheer and pale.
So let’s blend it all in so it doesn’t look like everything is on top.
Now, we’re ready to move on to the eyeliner!
