One problem that women always have about their make-up kit is a broken lipstick. There are times when we can’t prevent this from happening. Most of the time we accidentally break it or we left it in the car etc. If your lipstick is broken but is still in a good shape, there are ways which you can repair them than just throwing them in the trash bin. You can even purchase lipstick mold that will help you to make a professionally shaped lipstick and place is back in your own lipstick tube. But if you don’t have this lipstick mold, you can follow these steps and your lipstick will be repaired in no time.

Before doing anything, make sure to have a clean workspace. Put paper towels or any covering on the workspace area. As much as possible, wear gloves so that you won’t have to make a mess in your hands. There are some who prefer to use tissue, but unlike gloves tissue can stick to your lipstick making more mess. It is advised that you wear thin, disposable gloves to make it easier for you to move and it will not stick to your lipstick. Then stand the base of your lipstick upright on the table. If the base of your lipstick has only little left, you can still use your lipstick by simply mashing the broken lipstick to the base and just use a lip brush when applying it. Twist your lipstick to its maximum. Then take a match or lighter. Lit it then carefully run it underneath the base where your lipstick was broken. You can also slightly melt the area of the broken piece where they will be attached. Remember not to melt too much the lipstick. Get the broken piece of your lipstick and carefully attached it to the base of the lipstick. Then seal the edges of your lipstick by using a toothpick or the end of a match by moving it to the sides of the lipstick. Then seal your lipstick as one piece. Then put your lipstick inside the refrigerator for about 30 minutes to cool your lipstick into a whole. Clean up you area. Your lipstick can be used again.

So you really don’t have to throw your lipstick when it splits into two. There are actually ways for you to repair it so that it can be useful again. But if as much as possible it is best that you take good care of your lipsticks so that you won’t have to repair it anymore. Remember not to leave your lipsticks in hot places such as your car. These places will surely melt your lipstick. When applying it, do not twist it too high to avoid breakage. It is better to use a lipstick brush to keep your lipstick in good shape. By remembering these simple tips, you will find that you don’t have any lipsticks to repair since you don’t have any broken lipsticks anymore.
